Darkness Everywhere “To Conquer Eternal Damnation”

DARKNESS EVERYWHERE have announced their debut LP, “To Conquer Eternal Damnation” out May 10th, 2024! The first single “Retaliation” is streaming everywhere now, with an official video on YouTube.
DARKNESS EVERYWHERE unites vocalist/guitarist Ben Murray (Light This City, A Wilhelm Scream), guitarist Cameron Stucky (Crepuscle), drummer Garrett Garvey, and renowned producer/engineer Zack Ohren on bass. “To Conquer Eternal Damnation” follows the 2022 release of their debut EP, “The Seventh Circle”, as well as the 2023 stand alone single, “The Glow of Haunted Existence”. The new album was recorded by the band’s own Zack Ohren at Sharkbite Studios in Oakland, in November 2023, with artwork by Adam Burke.
The glory years of early In Flames, At the Gates, and Dark Tranquillity are what largely inform the sound and aesthetic of DARKNESS EVERYWHERE. The core of the band is built on the feel of those legendary records, while offering a refreshing take on the no frills melodic death metal sound akin to the output of modern outfits Horrendous, Majesties, and Upon Stone. The band wastes no time in getting to the point of melodic death metal riffing and driving, thrashing tempos.
