New Bedford, Massachusetts’ trailblazers in A WILHELM SCREAM are back with their sixth full-length studio LP, “Cheap Heat”, out February 27th! Just over three years after their last LP, “Lose Your Delusion” (2022), the band have come out the gate swingin’ harder than ever with ten tracks of adrenaline fueled melodic hardcore / punk rock. Combining the dark nihilistic mood of the band’s classic 2005 album “Ruiner” with the technicality, ferocity, and sharp precision of 2007’s monumental “Career Suicide”, the new full-length record is a unique hybrid of the darker, more aggressive elements of the band’s sound. Vocalist Nuno Pereira states “This record, and the process of recording it, are both a testament to and a celebration of the firepower and dedication our band has for our music. It has vitriolic energy behind every vocal,soaring guitars relentlessly shredding, and that sinister tongue in cheek shit we specialize in. This will go down as our best work to date. Guaranteed.“
Never bowing to trends, riding anyone’s waves, never breaking up and getting back together again, the New Bedford five piece are back with an absolute ass-kicker of a new album to bask in their glory of 25+ years holding it down on their own terms. There’s no one quite like A Wilhelm Scream – An amalgamation of punk rock, metal, and hardcore, the band has always been an island of their own, since forever. The underdogs that can’t be killed. Unapologetic in their delivery, “Cheap Heat” reminds the music world that no one does it like the boys from New Beige.
“Cheap Heat” was produced and mixed by the band’s own guitarist/vocalist Trevor Reilly at Anchor End Studio in New Bedford, Massachusetts, with mastering handled by his father Joe Reilly at Black & Blue Mastering. The new album also marks the first for the band’s newest member, Ben Murray (Light This City, Heartsounds, Darkness Everywhere) on second guitar.
The album artwork (by Tyler DiPaola) paints a scene of a protagonist in the band’s version of a cinematic thriller, up against the odds of the world, seeking vengeance and what’s theirs, destroying anyone in their path who have done them wrong. Thematically, “Cheap Heat” (in wrestling terms referring to a villain (heel) getting a quick, easy negative reaction from the crowd) takes a storyteller approach in its ten tracks. Guitarist/vocalist Trevor Reilly explains, “Our last album was more personal and earnestly poetic in our way, so the only place to go next lyrically was back down in the gutter where we thrive. We embraced our dark side on this one. Dove into sociopathy, personality disorders, concepts of evil, nature vs nurture and came out of this process with some savage stories told from our signature perspective of the sore winner that refuses to lose. There’s no good guys here.”
Throughout the ten crushing tracks that make up “Cheap Heat”, the vibe is abundantly clear – Non-stop riffs, soaring hooks, an unrelenting and incomparable rhythm section, and more piss and vinegar than ever before. Taking dominance over the West Coast style of melodic punk music that originally shaped the band’s sound, A Wilhelm Scream inject their cold-as-ice New England approach in their lyrical content and musical compositions. As some of the last real ones from that era left with the fire still burning inside them, A Wilhelm Scream aren’t stopping anytime soon. “Cheap Heat” is a testament to the venom and spirit of the band – Clocking in at just under 30 minutes, the new album doesn’t overstay its welcome. A straight to the point street delivery of moody existentialism, like the band has always done.

We’re proud to welcome Southern California’s AUDITORY ANGUISH to the label for the November release of their new EP, “AFA”.
Having brought their crushing blend of death metal-infused metalcore to cities across the West Coast over the past few years, Southern California’s AUDITORY ANGUISH self-released their Tragedies Of Western Existence three-song promo in 2023, followed by the Crime Rituals EP in 2024. Now aligned with Creator-Destructor, the band arrives with their most critical material to date. Here, the band’s vast array of influences is infused into a crushing alloy of hardcore/death metal, with everything from Xibalba, Deftones, and Cannibal Corpse converging to create the DNA of the band’s sound with unrelenting heaviness.
“AFA” was recorded and mixed at The Pit Recording Studio in Van Nuys, California by Taylor Young (Disgrace, Twitching Tongues, God’s Hate) who also provides additional vocals to “Unrelenting Blade,” while the track “Tierra Santa” features guests from Xibalba offshoot Tzompantli. Mastering was handled by Nick Townsend at Townsend Mastering, and the artwork duties were completed by Rodridgo Morales.

DENIAL OF LIFE is a metallic hardcore auditory assault forged in the Pacific Northwest. Channeling the speed and venom of Slayer, the primal fury of Sepultura, and the death-soaked grime of Entombed, they deliver a sound that is merciless, unrelenting, and steeped in darkness. With Brenna Gowin’s searing vocals riding the razor-sharp guitar work of Logan Miller and Dante Zickler, the crushing bass of Brian Bernard, and the pulverizing drums of Nick Cody, the band wages war on false hope and hollow promises.
“Witness The Power” was engineered by Jason Brooks, mixed by Taylor Young at The Pit Recording Studio (Nails, Kruelty, God’s Hate), mastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege (Obituary, Internal Bleeding, Creeping Death), and completed with artwork by Stein Hansen. “Witness The Power” will be released on 12” Vinyl, CD, and digitally via Creator-Destructor Records on November 7th. A music video, preorders, and more will be issued over the coming days.
Santa Cruz, California-based death metal squad TORTURE HAMMER will attack the population with their cruel, eponymous second EP through Creator-Destructor Records on October 24th.
After writing and releasing 2024’s Dormant Horror debut EP as a two-piece, TORTURE HAMMER vocalist Peter Pawlak and guitarist Sean Collins added drummer Max Mahmood (Iron Front, Manos De Fierro) and bassist Amir Sahabi (Caveman). With this fully fleshed-out lineup in place, the band stepped-up their game in every way on Torture Hammer.
The six tracks see the band’s attack fueled with even more aggression and antagonism, delivering their most deadly material to date. Torture Hammer was recorded, mixed, and mastered by Charles Toshio at Panda Studios in Fremont, California (Spy, Sunami, and Scowl) and completed with cover art by Martyrdoom Illustrations (200 Stab Wounds, Kruelty)
The title track acts as an endless onslaught of headbanging riffs leads the listener through a hellish scene before culminating in a traumatic, mosh-inducing breakdown finale. Check it out HERE!

BARBAROUS hit the ground running since coming onto the scene in April 2024 in the Bay Area. In September, the band released their two-song “Coup De Grâce” demo to widespread underground acclaim, just a foretaste of the lurking savagery the band was preparing to unleash.
BARBAROUS’ “Initium Mors”, arrives as one of the most devastating records so far this year. The band’s classic death metal influences are exemplified though a modern edge of relentless Bay Area energetic destruction. “Initium Mors” was recorded, mixed, and mastered by Cody Fuentes in February/March 2025 at Rapture Studios (Spite, Wolf King, Lionheart), and completed with harrowing art by death metal luminary Dan Seagrave (Dismember, Hypocrisy, Morbid Angel).

We’re stoked to welcome California death metal crew BARBAROUS to our roster!We’ll be releasing the cassette version of the band’s demo and locking the band in for the release of their debut LP next year. Grab your copy of the tape HERE!
Based in Oakland, BARBAROUS is influenced by the likes of Cannibal Corpse, Skeletal Remains, Necrot, and Gatecreeper, the band hit the ground running since coming onto the scene in April 2024, having played shows with performing live alongside the likes of Laceration and others across the Bay Area over the past few months.
BARBAROUS’ two-track demo, Coup De Grâce, dropped in September, and while succinct, the tracks displayed the band’s monstrous tones and honed attack. Its drums and bass were tracked at Rapture Recordings, the guitars recorded at Dongflopper Studios, and the vocals were tracked at Silver Bullet Studios, after which the tracks were mixed and mastered by Greg Wilkinson at Earhammer Studios (Vastum, Necrot, Ulthar) and fitted with cover artwork by Aesop Mongo.

“Madness Malformed” is a glowing representation of contemporary death metal at its most aggressive. Merging themes from 1980s horror and 1990s composition with modern production, the LP features eight brand new tracks, and a re-recording of the “Cryptic Nightmare” single. Drums that pull no punches paired with unforgiving guitar and bass performances deliver thirty intense minutes of the hardcore/death metal hybrid that RECIDIVIST has mastered.
“Madness Malformed” was recorded with Nic Kartchner at The Grotto, mixed by Ryan Bram at Homewrecker Studios (Gatecreeper, Terminal Nation, Morbid Visionz), mastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege (Obituary, Nails, Full Of Hell), and completed with cover art by John Quevado Janssens.
