We are incredibly excited to announce our 2018 Bay Area Showcase featuring Light This City, Spinebreaker, Wilderness Dream, Viral, Glacier Eater, Realms OfVision and even an At Our Heels reunion! LIGHT THIS CITY recently announced their reformation as a band after 10 years, as well as plans for an upcoming full-length LP, coming March of 2018! The Creator-Destructor Records Showcase marks the band’s first official show “back” as a band, and word on the street is they’ll even be premiering a new song or two! SPINEBREAKER continues to support their 2016 debut full-length release, “Ice Grave”, and WILDERNESS DREAM is hot on the heels of their latest EP release, “Paralysis Rise”. VIRAL is hard at work on their first official LP release and Creator-Destructor debut, which will be sure to please all you death-metal-heads out there. GLACIER EATER is also in the lab working on their sophomore concept LP and Creator-Destructor debut, which will see a summer 2018 release, and REALMS OF VISION just completed their debut full-length! If that wasn’t enough, AT OUR HEELS will be making a one-time reunion to rip some faces off for 15-20 minutes, starting the show off proper! See you all there!

“The Awakening is the third track on ‘Paralysis Rise’, and certainly one of the heaviest songs we’ve written, filled to the brim with our latest concoction of thrash metal and overwhelming misanthropy. The ending will hopefully make you want to destroy the human race…. At least that’s the goal!”

“The Awakening” is the latest volatile single from Bay Area hardcore/thrash metal warriors WILDERNESS DREAM. The track, which hails from the band’s impending Paralysis Rise EP, has been hurled into the public domain through an exclusive premiere at MetalSucks. Listen to the track here!
Since their initial self-titled 2015 EP, WILDERNESS DREAM’s sound and identity has naturally evolved into a more blackened and ominous thrash-metal assault. Recorded in February through April of 2017 with Scott Goodrich at Nu-Tone Studios in Pittsburgh, California, Paralysis Rise pays homage to the death metal pioneers and legends of the ’90s while injecting the band’s own special vicious brand of intensity, creating a truly unique second release from one of the West Coast’s most exciting up-and-coming heavy bands.

DECIBEL MAGAZINE Premieres WILDERNESS DREAM Single!

As Oakland’s molten metal quartet WILDERNESS DREAM prepares their second EP “Paralysis Rise” for release on July 14th, Decibel Magazine is now streaming “The Observer,” the devastating closing track to the new recod – Give the track a listen here.
WILDERNESS DREAM guitarist/vocalist and label owner Ben Murray proclaims, “We couldn’t be more thrilled to bring you the first single from our upcoming second EP! After some deliberation, we came to the consensus that ‘The Observer’ was the most violent, crushing preview of the tone of this record, and we hope that you all enjoy it! ‘The Observer’ is the closing track on Paralysis Rise, and definitely reveals the shift in our sound towards a darker, less melodic realm of the blackened thrash metal universe…Turn the lights down and turn that shit up!”

WILDERNESS DREAM Announce “Paralysis Rise” EP!

We are incredibly excited to announce the release of WILDERNESS DREAM’s upcoming “Paralysis Rise” EP! Clocking in at just under 20 minutes, the 7 deadly new songs that comprise the band’s upcoming thrash assault retain the same intensity and urgency that characterized the band’s debut self-titled EP release, while boasting similar misanthropic, nihilistic lyrical content. However, the listener will quickly notice that WILDERNESS DREAM have eliminated most remaining melody and lingering punk influences and replaced them with a doubled-down violent dose of dissonant, razor-sharp riffs and unpredictable, chaotic song structures. Tracks like “Spiritual Predator” and “The Observer” see the band at their most blistering speeds yet, thundering through every chainsaw-driven riff and tortured lyric without looking back, leaving the listener zero time to take a breath. At the same time, songs like “Venom”, “Ghosts”, and “No Light” see WILDERNESS DREAM bringing the tempos down to more stomping, punishing grooves, rounding out the band’s second EP release with numerous unique and refreshing moments of sonic domination.
“Paralysis Rise” was recorded in February-April of 2017 with Scott Goodrich at Nu-Tone Studios in Pittsburgh, CA. The EP will be officially released on July 14th, 2017 via Creator-Destructor Records on 12″ EP Vinyl/Digital.

WILDERNESS DREAM Preorder Update, Shows Announced

It’s no secret that we’re intensely excited about the debut 12″ EP from Oakland’s Newest Thrash Metal unit of destruction, WILDERNESS DREAM. While we get ready for the release of the 12″, the band has announced a series of shows, starting with their first ever live debut on October 18th in Oakland, CA alongside Landmine Marathon and Ulthar (Members of Pale Chalice, Vastum, ex-Mutilation Rites). WILDERNESS DREAM’s official ‘record release show’ will be the following Tuesday, 10/27 in SF at The Knockout, as well! All of the band’s upcoming dates are below, but expect to see plenty more, soon!
If you haven’t already preordered your copy of the self-titled EP, check it out in our online store, or listen to it for FREE at our Bandcamp. All preorders will ship out on Tuesday, 10/20 and should arrive within a few days later. Thank you all for your support so far, these records will look amazing. From what we’ve seen so far, the 12″ Gatefold Jacket and Silk-Screened B-Side are going to be beastly.
